Picture this, you decide on the spur of the moment to make a braai for your family and/or friends and you simply pop out of your kitchen, grab a handful of beautiful bountiful basil from your organic vegetable garden (or herb pot), and whip up a fabulous recipe, and in no time at all YOU HAVE PESTO. Makes life so easy! Oh, and the vitamin intake is great too.

Recipe
2 cups basil
Half cup Parmesan cheese
Half cup olive oil
Third cup pine nuts
3 cloves garlic crushed
Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare your seed trays with organic germination mix, put in your seeds, water well with your Bottle Top Waterer (so that you don’t wash the tiny seeds out), put in a warm place and in a matter of a couple of months you will be harvesting your basil. In the meantime put in a tray of seedlings to give you a head start if you want, and then you can have successive supply.
