What is an Eco pool?

ENVIRONMENTALLY EXCELLENT ECO POOLS!

An Eco Pool is quite simply incredible.

This crystal clear body of water is an environmentally conscious swimming pool, which uses only plant biology in a living ecosystem – and some basic physics – to filter and clean the water. This results in the most immaculate, sparkling natural pool, softly surrounded by a sumptuous aquatic garden that is quite something to behold. An Eco Pool will not only bring a beautiful aesthetic to any outside space, it will also ensure that your garden is constantly bursting with life, as it naturally attracts birds, helpful insects and even water creatures if you so wish!

An Eco Pool is completely reliant on the magic of nature and thus it does not use any mechanical or active technical filtration. The living ecosystem that surrounds it does all the work. An Eco Pool usually consists of two sections which work in harmony with one another: half of it is plants and half of it is the swimming area. The basic nature of aquatic plants, remove phosphorus and nitrogen before it has a chance to spread and multiply, which leaves you with a perfectly pristine swimming pool.

A stunning focal point in any garden, Eco Pools constantly adapt to the changing seasons which means they provide year-round beauty.

An Eco Pool is completely chemical free and does not require electrical filtration equipment, which means that it will always be cheaper to maintain than a conventional swimming pool.

ECO POOL FAST FACTS

  • Eco Pools are very low maintenance as they don’t rely on chemicals or technical filtration for their upkeep.
