Kniphofia Orange Cheer
Bright orange flowers from summer to autumn. South Africa has approximately 47 species of both summer and winter flowering Kniphofias.
Sword shaped leaves that are either deciduous or evergreen (determined by the climate) with slender but sturdy flowering stems that end in dense clusters of cylindrical flowers.
Kniphofias are ideal for gardens that are aimed at attracting wild life, such as birds as the flowers are rich in nectar.
They are very pretty between grasses and aloes as well as water features.
