Calathea ornata

Calathea ornata is a species of perennial plant in the family known as the prayer plants. It is native to South America, and is often cultivated as a houseplant.

This is a popular plant with attractive leaves and colours but the plant does not flower very often indoors. However, it is a gorgeous species with dark green and glossy looking leaves. Keep in high light areas with well-drained soil.
