Impatiens

Impatiens are among the most popular annuals because they are very colourful and dependable plants blooming steadily all summer. Their biggest advantage is that they absolutely flourish in light shade. So if you have a shady area in your garden which you would like to fill with an easy to grow, colourful annual, give impatiens a try. They will transform dark spaces with a profusion of lush growth and pretty colours.

Join Shane Beckwith from Andy Titterton at GardenShop Menlo Park on 14th September at 11am and learn more about these magnificent beauties.

The talk will consist of an introduction to the new Beacon Impatiens and what makes it so special, including the meaning of “highly resistant”. It will also cover what downy mildew is and why it was so prolific in destroying impatiens in the past, as well as the trials that were conducted and their results. This informative morning will also cover where to utilise Beacon Impatiens in the garden and the colours that are available for sale.
