2017 Clivia Show will captivate with vivid flowers on display at GardenShop FloraFarm
GardenShop FloraFarm will be transformed into a realm of Clivia colour on Saturday, 9 to Sunday, 10 September 2017 from 9am to 3pm, where crowds will gather to view a floral exhibition with over 50 varieties of the exquisite flowers.
Commonly called South Africa’s bush lily, Clivias are the most spectacular indigenous spring flowers and produce some of the most interesting shades of flowers with variations of apricot, cream, pale yellow, peach, and pink.
During the weekend showcase, Paul Kloeck of Clivia Kingdom will host a variety of discussions on ‘Basic Clivia Care’ and the splitting and potting of Clivias. The ‘king of Clivias’, Kloeck is based in Curlews Valley near Nelspruit, which homes 20 000 Clivias.
Visitors to the Clivia Show can also interact with green industry partners Efekto, Hadeco, Culterra, Protek and Talborne, while learning about feeding, growing, planting and maintaining the plants.
Avid gardeners and plant growers are encouraged to make the most of the experience by stocking up on garden-related merchandise at the most competitive prices during operating hours: 8am to 5pm.
